I was reading a reflection on Exodus 6 this week by JD Walt that challenged me in light of our current circumstances. (JD was our Dean of Chapel during my years at Asbury Theological Seminary and now writes a Daily Text for a ministry known as Seedbed. Loving God and Loving Others Amid Coronavirus

At EUM Church, our congregation and community are family. And like you, during these last few weeks we’ve been focused on doing all the things we need to do to keep our families safe and healthy. We believe that everyone deserves to have access to worship and communities of faith. That’s why our teams are working so hard to keep our facilities clean and prepared. Here are the steps we’re taking to protect our community, congregation, servants and staff: At Our Facilities: Cleaning commonly used areas more often, including counters, door handles, equipment, etc. Sanitizing restrooms more frequently and keeping them well stocked with supplies, including soap, paper towels and hand sanitizer.
