CARE MINISTRY

We all have defining moments in our lives—challenging circumstances, relational pain, transitional seasons. How we respond during these times has a direct impact on our relationship with Christ, with others and our futures.

Care Ministry provides a network of ministries, helpful resources, trained volunteers, and counseling and classes to help you move forward.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Stephen Ministers are Christian volunteers who are available to offer support when dealing with deep personal issues.  Stephen Ministers care by listening, supporting, encouraging, praying, being dependable and trustworthy and maintaining confidentiality in their care-giving.

PRAYER MINISTRY, SHUT-IN MINISTRY AND HOSPITAL CARE

These ministries work together to provide care to our congregation and community.   If you are hospitalized, home-bound, or unable to attend worship our servants will visit with you to offer holy communion, etc.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

WEDDINGS

If you need help securing a pastor to officiate your wedding or for wedding venue information, please contact weddingcoordinator@eumchurch.org.

FUNERALS

We feel privileged to provide a meal after a funeral or memorial service for the families that worship with us. A meal provides an opportunity for loved ones to connect and share stories... it is our honor to provide that opportunity!

HOSPITAL VISITS

As a part of the Care Network, we have a team of trained, caring volunteers available to visit loved ones of EUM members or regular attendees who are in hospitals or hospice.
